Long weekend

Last day of school holidays

We organised to have Erics kids for a few hours and organised a small birthday celebration for Aaron. I also organised to catch up with a few girlfriends at the same time. 

So a few hours at Wynnum waterfront, followed by a run down to the Gold Coast to the Q1 tower skydeck, back to  the Waterfront for chicken and chips for dinner then dropped Eric off to go back to course. Miss him already!

Birthday car. He had a ranty about us saying he had to kiss the closest girl- being Ariana. The kids didn't give them hugs or kisses. At all and barely acknowledges them. Their loss I guess.

Tasty Tuesdays

4/5 kids decided today was a great day to cook!

Tarni and ana made banana bread buddy. And spilled egg all over the floor!

Lex and Zoe made a citrus poppyseed dinosaur. Can't wat to taste this one!

I've been a slack blogger. I promise to try harder :)

Been a busy week

Court dramas. Hubby home for the weekend. Well one night at least. Planes cancelled Friday night. 

Another dreamworld trip. Or two. Cuddles. Always lots of cuddles. 

Tarni was cheerleading for the jets. 

Kids school

Quiet

It's been quiet. End of school holidays and a little bit cold. 

So I'm just enjoying my coffee in the sun doing this-

And getting a bit excited about the big surprise!! We get to baby sit a RAAF puppy for the weekend 😁😁

Haven't told the kids yet but it should be here in about an hour till Monday morning!

Weekend

Saturday we went and checked out Lobley Park. It has a cute little aeroplane and control tower for the kids, great swings and plenty of things to touch. Definitely a favourite playground and just on the edge of town. 

Eric finished off the garage and we realised the removalists didn't unpack our  lawn mower from the truck. Grrrrr. Second time we have used this company and second time things have been "lost"

Sunday we drove out toGatton, did some fruit and veg shopping and had a milkshake. Went running. It's so hilly here!

Finally found the last pieces of Zoe's bed and put it together- so will take pics when her room is finished later!
