What a year

So this time a year ago we were about to head up to cairns for a weekend holiday. Things were a bit crazy- Eric was back at work after surgery, just started the new job. I was 7 months pregnant. Almost school holidays. 

Then Kalyb moved to his fathers. Got involved in their church. 

Had Miss muffet. Home in 2 hours!

Christmas and Townsville got flooded in but not flooded itself!

Got fit with my man :)

Had birthdays and Easter. 

Kalyb got into trouble and moved back home. 

And since then its been a roller coaster mess of legal stuff, plus E going away for work and having 5 kids at home and everything else. And finding time for the gym and exercising. And becoming me again- and I can say I am in the best shape of my life! Now to get the rest sorted out and breathe :) .

So this is my umpteenth blog. I guess this time it's a bit different. For starters I'm not going to advertise it anywhere. And probably no family photos- so if stalkers find it- well enjoy reading. Maybe I will set it to private. Who knows?
But I digress.

Today the babies and I made pancakes. Nothing hard there! One of the favorites. We have a sunbeam pancake machine. Best $35 I ever spent. All the bigger kids can make pancakes unsupervised.

Our recipe is pretty basic.

3 cups SR flour
3 eggs
3 cups milk.

That amount feeds 6kids and 2 adults. You can always add more mixture. It's a basic 1-1-1 recipe.
