Menu plan Monday

Let me pretend it's Monday and I'm not actual a day late!

This week is easy:

Monday- peri peri chicken, potato and                    carrot

Tuesday- honey, soy and garlic slow cooked pulled chicken with rice and veg

Wednesday- lasagna , garlic bread and salad

Thursday- steak, loaded baked potato, and steamed veg

Friday- scream night at Dreamworld so we will do takeaway ( goes from 6-10 and add in travel)

Saturday- roast with all the trimmings

Sunday- leftovers

There is a stack of Pinterest recipes in hanging out to try so maybe some baking this week too

Dreamworld 2

Yes we ended up buying annual passes - makes sense with a large family. Dreamworld is a cheap day out- we take our own food and make bottles of water and cordial. Occasionally we buy a slushie to share- at $10 it's pricy!

Monday-itis

I don't always have mondayitis. Today it's just really cold and the first day of holidays.

So 5 loads of washing, breakfast and lunch done along with dishes and dinner is cooking. What's for dinner at your house?

Here it's peri peri oven baked chicken and veggies. And leftover pumpkin soup. Just a nice easy basic meal.
Kids went to Sutton park-they love it down there. They also didn't get lost hooray!

Sutton park has a great play area with bike paths- which have a roundabout and traffic signals, one way streets and stop signs for the kids. It also has a great playground, a helicopter swing, fitness area and a skate park. Fun for all ages.

Dreamworld trip 1

We took all 8 kids to dreamworld

Highlight of my day- being told " you're horrible and I hate you"

I rode the buzz saw with Kalyb and Tarni. Drove vintage cars with lex. And had a pretty good day. Even managed to get lost on the way home

Exploring

Yesterday we took the time to check out queens park. Nice play area over a few different levels

There is a lot more park to explore, and an animal sanctuary

Newspapers

Yesterday my children's bottoms managed to make it on to page 7 of the Sydney paper.

Apparently there's no other news happening if that got to page 7!

There's been some interesting comments on Facebook about nude pics and seems like I must be the only parent in the world to ever post this kind of picture..... Oh my gosh- what was that mother thinking 😁😂😂😂😂

Which brings me to ask- do you censor your photos you put online? Do you ever think " oh I can't post that- a pedophole might see it".
Do you think of what other people will say when you post and comment or do you just do what makes you smile?
